Job Description

The recruitment of the North Eastern Railway has total of 426 vacant posts in the fields of the Commercial Clerk, Ticket Collector, Technician-III, Assistant Loco Pilot, Junior Engineer, Assistant Station Master and Goods Guard. • Whereas for the Assistant Logo Pilot, candidate must be holder of Matriculation or equivalent with course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT in the trades of fitter/Electrician/Instrument Mechanic/Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/wireman/Armature and Coil Winder/Heat Engineer/Turner or any other respective discipline.

•  Aspirants applying for the Junior Engineer/Drawing and Junior Engineer/C&W posts in the North Eastern Railway Recruitment 2017, Should possess three years of Diploma in respective field. Whereas the aspirants applying for the Assistant Station Master and Goods Guard posts must have the Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

Age Limitation

As per the rules and regulations of the North Eastern Railway, the applying aspirants must not be less than 18 years of age. Whereas the maximum age set by the board for the different categories is as follows:

Salary Details
